Saturday 12th May, 10am to 1pm Figure/Portraiture Drawing from a Live Sitter, with Bob Gurney

Explore working with a clothed model to create a completed drawing or to develop for a later artwork. Participants will learn about proportion, tone, measuring, and general hints on composition, etc. will be demonstrated. The use of lighting will be used to enhance tonal qualities and create a finished drawing. WAG-Members - $10, non-members - $15.

At the Shire Hall & Art Spaces, The Exhibition curated by Wollondilly Arts Group.is also open on Friday 4th May 10.00 am till 4:00 pm, and Sunday 6th May, 2018 from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm. Local, Macarthur and STARTS region artists are invited to enter works. Exhibition prize $250 and Peoples choice $150 prize to be won. Sat 28th October 2017 10am to 4pm Lino Printing Workshop with Natalia Rudnicki

What you will learn:
Explore the bold and graphic nature of linoblock printing. Participants will learn how to transfer a design to a piece of lino, prepare lino blocks, cut an image, prepare paper and print a limited edition. Printing will be done both by hand and using a small press. Various methods of printing will be explored.
Methods of cutting, inking and rolling-up, and registration techniques to produce a lino block, as well as adding colour to print, will also be taught.

Bring your ideas, photographs or sketches and see them transformed into unique lino prints.
